As a Junior/Mid-level Software Developer at MyCumulus, you will play a vital role in our software development efforts. You'll be actively involved in coding, problem-solving, and contributing to various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). While you won't be responsible for project management or solution architecture, you will work closely with other team members to implement and deliver high-quality software solutions.

General Skills:

• A strong motivation to learn and excel in software development
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication and documentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a development team
• At least 1-2 years of prior experience in software development or a related role
• An adaptable approach to working on different development tasks
• Capability to meet coding deadlines and contribute effectively
• Willingness to collaborate with team members

Software Developer Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Sound knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Proficient in at least one of the 3 sets:
• Android/Xamarin (C#)/SQLite
• Java/MongoDB (or other NoSQL)/SpringBoot
• TypeScript/Angular/HTML/CSS
• Understanding of RESTAPI design principles

Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Familiarity with AWS or cloud computing concepts
• Knowledge of Dutch language
• Understanding of software quality – unit/integration testing, using good coding practices, etc
• Experience working with moderately complex systems
• Understanding of GIS software
• Technical education in either computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
