We are seeking an experienced MyCumulus Project Manager to contribute to every step of the software extension development lifecycle (SDLC). As the MyCumulus Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining problems, creating solutions, and developing final solutions. Besides managing product and project risks, you'll also be managing team communication through the sales manager.

The successful candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience leading development with (frequent) software releases, working with teams to identify and implement solutions for a variety of IT applications, including frontend, backend, mobile applications and UI/UX development. You should be familiar with modern cloud application architecture and have a flexible management approach depending on the needs of particular projects and clients. You should be capable of working under tight deadlines, have strong mentorship skills, and a proven track record of working collaboratively with different project stakeholders, including technical and business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the MyCumulus software development team
• Manage product and project risks
• Manage team communication through the sales manager
• Work with teams to identify problems and implement solutions for a variety of IT applications, including frontend, backend, mobile applications and UI/UX development
• Implement and support cloud implementations on Amazon AWS
• Design and implement cloud solutions for the MyCumulus cloud solution
• Automate cloud operations and cloud deployment
• Work with the team to develop and deploy cloud solutions for different AWS EC2 instances and platforms (Backend, Front end, mobile apps)
• Define and manage KPIs

Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial spirit and highly self-motivated
• Good basic knowledge of English. Sufficient writing skills related to communication and documentation
• At least 3+ years of experience leading development with (frequent) software releases
• At least 3+ years of experience working with teams to identify and implement solutions for a variety of IT applications, including frontend, backend, mobile applications and UI/UX development
• Able to work very well in a team
• Experience with external developers
• Familiarity with modern cloud application architecture
• Flexible management approach depending on the needs of particular projects and clients

• Capable of working under tight deadlines
• Strong mentorship skills
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with different project stakeholders, including technical and business teams
• Knowledge of (2 or more of the following): Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, C#, Android SDK, TypeScript, Angular, C++, VBA
• Knowledge of RESTFULL API’s
• Familiarity working with large systems
• Technical education including computer science, mathematics, physics

Nice to have:

• Dutch language skills
• Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Software as a Service, and managed no SQL databases (MongoDB)
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS
• Experience with AWS EC2, and Route 53
• Have a good understanding of GIS software
