MyCumulus is aware of the trust you place in us. So, we feel responsible for protecting your privacy. This privacy statement identifies the data that we process.

Personal data that we process

MyCumulus processes personal data that you actively provide to us through your use of our services, either before entering into an agreement, or data that is required for the performance of an agreement. MyCumulus respects your privacy and makes every effort to ensure that the personal information you provide to us is handled confidentially. A summary of the personal data that we process is included below:

  • First and last name;
  • Gender;
  • Business (mobile) phone number;
  • Business email address;
  • Position;
  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by completing a form on our website, in other forms of correspondence or during contact by telephone.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

MyCumulus processes your personal data that we require in advance in connection with your request for setting up an agreement, and data that we require for the performance of an agreement, for the following purposes:

  • Sending a quotation;
  • Fulfilling an order, including the supply (delivery) of goods and services, and processing your payment;
  • Informing you of product updates and changes to our services;
  • Contacting you by telephone or email when required for the purpose of providing our service;
  • MyCumulus also processes personal data if we are legally required to do so, such as data we need for our tax return;
  • We may also use your personal data for internal purposes such as audits, data analysis and research to improve products, services, and communication.

How long we store personal data

MyCumulus does not store your personal data for any longer than strictly necessary for the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

MyCumulus does not sell your data to third parties and will only make your data available if this is necessary for performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your personal data at our instruction in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality in respect of your personal data. MyCumulus remains responsible for these processing operations.

Accessing, correcting, or erasing data

You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data at any time. You can submit a request for accessing, correcting, or erasing your personal data to privacy@mycumulus.com. To prove that the request for access does in fact originate from you, please send a copy of your ID with your request. To protect your privacy, please make sure that you obscure your passport photo, the MRZ, passport number and Citizen Service Number on this copy. MyCumulus will respond to your request as quickly as possible, within a period of four weeks. MyCumulus would also like to inform you that you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Cookies that we use and third-party websites

MyCumulus only uses technical, functional, and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you visit our website for the first time. MyCumulus is not responsible or liable for the cookie usage of the third-party websites that you can link to as a visitor, or that of the social media channels, including YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

How we protect personal data

MyCumulus takes protecting your data seriously and acts in an appropriate manner to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised alteration. We communicate our privacy and security guidelines to all MyCumulus employees and enforce stringent measures within the company to ensure the security of your personal information.
